Day one in the Trendyloin

What is the Trendyloin?

Somewhere between Nob Hill and the Tenderloin in San Francisco. A little big city on a 7 mile by 7 mile peninsula, San Francisco is divided into many distinct and separate neighborhoods. From the Financial District to the Outer Richmond, from Marina to Mission, each neighborhood has it's own personality.

Nob Hill is famed for having the very richest and finest homes in San Francisco, while the Tenderloin is where the "dregs" of society, new immigrants with their children, the sick and disenfranchised languish...or flourish, depending on your outlook.

Nestled in between heaven and hell there is a little flattening of the hills of San Francisco also known as Tendernob or Lower Nob Hill. It's a place of constant transition, flatter streets, San Francisco's Theatre District AND the Salon du Trendyloin.

It's safe and lively. Full of restaurants, easy to access mass transit, sweeping views and home to Salon du Trendyloin. Dedicated to the continued enlightenment in all things entertaining and artful, the Salon du Trendyloin is at home at the corner of Post and Jones. Stay tuned as we explore the theatre, decorative arts, entertainment and whatever else interests us. -
